About Mike Sander, Product Inventor
Leveraging his expertise and a clear need for custom-crafted, high-quality flat shower bases, Mike invented a better shower floor and launched Encompass in 2015 to bring a more elegant, versatile shower base to market. Previously, and after 22 years in the corporate world, Mike founded Sander and Sons in 1996 to fulfill his passion for custom carpentry and for crafting elegant, practical kitchens and baths. He began with his own family kitchen and quickly saw a need in the industry for a team of artisans, able to craft beautiful, high quality cabinetry and materials tailored to the needs and budgets of his community.
